<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">*Managing and maintaining various, complex production and non-production databases.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Responsible for standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security administration.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Optimizing database access and allocating/re-allocating database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Installing, upgrading, refreshing and maintaining all database environments.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Responsible for the day to day database administrative tasks, such as: proactive monitoring, error checking, performance tuning, trouble-shooting, back-up and recovery.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Collaborating with project teams to set up database, DB interface, and production set-up and configuration.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Managing user security and access to databases to provide controlled access environment.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Investigating, reviewing, applying and testing all patches and bug fixes in the database environment and providing consultation on patch management, custom interface design and operational implementation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Interacting with developers and programmers in order to design/review programs, custom interfaces and queries according to standards.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Utilizing data management tools such as SSIS, SSAS, DTS, and SSRS</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Will be required to be on an on-call rotation</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Qualifications</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Bachelor&#8217;s degree preferred.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* 5 to 7+ years&#8217; experience of Database Administration, Database Design, Performance Analysis, and Production Support</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Preferred industry related certifications</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2000/2005 or greater, 2005+ preferred</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Expert knowledge in installation, backup, and restoring of SQL databases</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Strong database administration skills with an emphasis on enterprise scale architecture</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">* Expert knowledge of database security methodologies. Including SQL security, mixed security, server roles, and database roles</span></p>

<p style=""><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred; four to seven years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Unix experience preferred.</span></p>

<p style=""><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">• Knowledge of Java, WebSphere, MQSeries, J2EE (JMS, JCA, EJB, Servlet/JSP).</span></p>

<p style=""><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">• Proficient in Java Swing</span></p>
<p style=""><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;"></span></p>

The Programmer/Analyst II is accountable for designing, coding, testing, documenting and implementing computer programs for new or existing applications.
<p /><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">ACCOUNTABILITIES<br /></span></b><br />Develops detailed program specifications including design of online screen and/or reports by working with project management and/or end users and receiving instruction and direction.
<p />Converts project specifications into sequential, detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into computer processing language by creating flowcharts and/or pseduo-code where applicable.
<p />Considers all aspects of project such as hardware design, hardware limitations, operating time, format of desired results and any other system constraints by working with project management.
<p />Eliminates errors before moving project to Quality Assurance by testing and debugging programs.
<p />Maintains and enhances existing application programs by continually improving understanding of user’s needs and how the system can better support the user.
<p />Formulates project plan by working with project management and outlining steps required to develop project and submits project plan to project management for approval.
<p />Understands current operating procedures by consulting with users and reviewing project objectives.
<p />Completes project assignments in a timely manner by receiving directions and project assignment priority from Project Leader/Manager.
<p />Ensures a timely progression of project completion by coordinating testing activities, including test data and results, with Quality Assurance.
<p />Develops programs that run efficiently and adhere to client standards by minimizing excess overhead in applications and re-using code and coding techniques.
<p />Ensures long term maintainability of the system by documenting project according to client guidelines.
<p />Provides resolutions to problems by taking the initiative to use all resources available for research.
<p />Provides programmer support on a 24-hour basis by participating in the Programmer of the Week (POW) rotation.
<p />Participates in the development of new Programmer/Analysts I by providing guidance and training as needed.
<p />Serves as lead programmer by overseeing assigned project.
<p /><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE<br /></span></b><br />High School Diploma or GED required. A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science preferred; four to seven years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
<p /><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">SKILLS &amp; CERTIFICATIONS<br /></span></b><br />• Knowledge of COBOL, CICS, z/OS, JCL, and/or C and AIX, and/or Java/Websphere/ Java Swing.
<p />• Possesses keyboard proficiency.
<p />• Ability to type 40 words per minute.
<p />• Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills.
<p />• Possesses strong attention to detail skills.

<p />The Network Analyst II is accountable for designing, installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining all Network infrastructure including related hardware equipment and software to ensure optimal operation of all Networks including Local Area Networks, Storage Area Networks and Wide Area Networks. The Network Analyst II handles assignments of a more complex nature with limited direction/guidance.
<p />Ensures optimal performance of all Networks by proactively conducting ongoing performance monitoring and by tuning/adjusting as necessary.
<p />Provides effective Level II help desk support on a 24/7 basis by researching/analyzing issues/requests to determine Network related implications, effectively communicating with all impacted parties and by troubleshooting and resolving issues with a sense of urgency to minimize any system downtime.
<p />Ensures optimal Network design and set-up by conducting effective new hardware/software installations, hardware/software replacements/upgrades and by performing reconfigurations as needed. Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
<p />Ensures Network security integrity by correctly configuring and maintaining Network hardware/software and by monitoring and maintaining security systems (e.g. intrusion detection system, firewalls, etc.).
<p />EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE
<p />A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred plus three to five years of Network related experience; or equivalent combination of education or experience preferred.
<p />REQUIREMENTS
<p />• Extensive knowledge of network hubs, routers, switches, network infrastructure design, protocol and network analyzers, wiring standards, and the TCP/IP protocol.<br />• The position requires a mature and responsible individual with strong initiative, analytical skills and judgment to independently handle assignments.<br />• Strong knowledge of Cisco routers, switches and Pix / ASA firewalls, VPN and VOIP. Cisco Nexus administration required.<br />• Working knowledge of WANs (T1&#8242;s, T3&#8242;s, MPLS and point-to-point)<br />• Strong routing skills especially competent on EIGRP and BGP routing protocols. <br />• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Design Associate certification (CCDA) preferred. ITIL practice or certification(s) heavily preferred.<br />• Knowledge of Windows Servers.<br />• Familiarity with setting up network printers and printing.<br />• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.<br />• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.<br />• Strong attention to detail skills.<br />• Demonstrated ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style.<br />• Good verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively document procedures.<br />• Must be able to work weekends and after business hours as required.<br />• Possess accurate keyboarding proficiency.<br />• Must be self-motivated to learn all aspects of networking.<br />• Energetic and eager to learn.

<p style="margin-bottom: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The Senior Information Security Engineer is primarily responsible for the architecture and implementation of software and systems directly attributed to IT Risk reduction, Compliance/Regulatory initiatives, and Industry Best Practice within the client&#8217;s infrastructure. The position is an advanced technical position that requires minimal oversight and direction, and should be able to work independently and define project goals and timelines as needed. The Senior Information Security Engineer has an expert understanding of both Network and/or Application based security, and how it can be applied to the enterprise. In addition, the Senior Information Security Engineer has the responsibility for monitoring and response to all Security incidents, alerts, and systems outages. Finally, the Senior Information Security Engineer will provide all documentation in relation to the Primary responsibilities described above.</span></p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%;">– Maintain awareness of up-to-date threat and vulnerability profiles, including respective countermeasures.</span></p>

<h2><b><span style="font-size: 18.0pt;">IT hiring has been on the rise since the start of 2011, and IT staffing executives expect that growth to continue through the rest of the year, despite recent bad economic news. </span></b></h2>
<p style=""><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Times New Roman,serif;"><a href="http://www.cio.com">CIO</a> &#8212; IT professionals looking for new jobs need not fear that the recent spate of bad economic news will hamper their <a href="http://www.cio.com/article/496886/IT_Job_Search_Bible">job searches</a>. IT staffing industry executives agree that IT hiring in the U.S. will remain robust through the end of the year, bucking renewed fears of a double dip recession recently brought on by stock market corrections, the ongoing debt crisis in Europe and the U.S., and Standard &amp;Poor&#8217;s downgrade of America&#8217;s credit rating. </span></p>
<p style=""><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Times New Roman,serif;">&quot;Despite the economic woes we&#8217;ve been hearing about, I haven&#8217;t on the ground seen any change in demand [for IT workers],&quot; says Shane Bernstein, managing director of IT staffing firm Q. &quot;In fact, demand keeps increasing. Every week I hear [from our clients], &#8216;We have a lot more positions coming down the pipeline that we need to fill.&#8217;&quot;</span></p>
<p style=""><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Times New Roman,serif;">Q works with small, midsize and large companies in technology and other industries. &quot;No one has put budgets on hold. No one has put hiring freezes on,&quot; adds Bernstein. &quot;The economy hasn&#8217;t affected us yet. This is not to say that it won&#8217;t, but I haven&#8217;t seen it.&quot; </span></p>
<p style=""><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Times New Roman,serif;">Andrew Speer, senior vice president of technology services for IT staffing firm Technisource, and Jeff Freeland, CEO of Santa Clara, Calif.-based Astreya, are also bullish about the IT job market through the end of the year. Speer says requests for temporary workers, temp-to-perm hires and permanent placements are all on the rise at Technisource. Consequently, he adds, IT workers are in a &quot;wonderful&quot; position to land new jobs. </span></p>
<p style=""><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Times New Roman,serif;">Astreya&#8217;s staffing business, which specializes in placing IT infrastructure workers (systems administrators, network engineers and system and network architects), is also growing&#8211;by 27 percent over the last year, says Freeland. </span></p>
