IT security remains a hot skills area in both pay and demand, yet there are a number of other skills within IT that have shown some life in the first three months of 2010, according to technology research analyst firm Foote Partners. The following presentation looks at 28 noncertified technology skill areas that showed a mild recovery in pay “contributing to a 0.2% average increase in overall market value,” according to an April 22 Foote Partners report. The four specific areas these skills are found in include applications development; SAP applications; operating systems; and broader process, methodology and management skills.
